In my experience, piercers giving incorrect aftercare information such as instructing people to twist their jewelry simply aren’t well educated in terms of body piercing.
Some aspects of aftercare are debated among piercers, which is fine. Different areas/climates can require slightly different approaches for aftercare.
But there are a few things that most if not all educated piercers can agree on. Informing clients to not deliberately twist/spin jewelry in a fresh piercing is one of them.

no, they are way stronger! you can lift much heavier weights - like forceps, clamps, etc. but they are also bigger in themselves, so you cant put them in every finger - small hands for example? better forget the pinkie-finger as placement. but middle finger and ringfinger most time work out, still. or side of the hand
AND: also you feel magnetic waves where you wouldnt feel them with the standard magnets.
